Hey I’m Ben,
I am one of the founding members of Trident Sports Events. The idea was to bring more events to the local communities and make all competitors feel like superstars. From our first events on the Revesby farm yard to the highly successful Mallard Cake Dash it has been a thrilling journey and we are still growing.
Behind the scenes, I spent most of my youth swimming, before turning to water polo and since 2018 I have been a keen triathlete. I have also played cricket, hockey, squash in fact I just enjoy sport in all forms. My proudest achievement was coming 3rd at the European Championships in Belgium last year.
Hey I’m Denise,
I joined Trident Sports Events as an ambassador and my love for it grew and grew, I then had the opportunity to join Ben and be an official part of the business which was huge for me, I didn’t really have to think twice, seeing so many people enjoy our events gives me such a buzz!!
I’ve been running nearly 5 years, more for the mental side, knowing only I can do it, I enjoy pushing myself for me, I love the fresh air and the early morning runs. I’ve worked my way up and I’m now an ultra marathoner.
My favourite distance will always be a half marathon though. I also enjoy long dog walks and exploring new places, and catching up with friends at the same time.
The main goal for me is people knowing that we support every runner as we know everyone runs for different reasons.
